Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 3 in DragonBall Daima Episode 19 – A Long-Awaited Moment!
Vegeta finally ascends to Super Saiyan 3 in his normal state, and it was nothing short of perfection.
After years of wondering if we would ever see Vegeta use Super Saiyan 3 properly, DragonBall Daima Episode 19 delivered one of the best moments for the Prince of all Saiyans. Now that our Z Fighters have returned to their adult forms, the episode wasted no time in putting Vegeta front and center, letting him take the lead against Demon King Gomah. And what better way to do so than by unleashing Super Saiyan 3 in his normal size? Seeing Vegeta in this form for the first time outside of his mini state in Episode 12 was a dream come true, and the way he handled himself in battle was even better.
Vegeta Takes Charge: A Battle Worth the Wait
The episode kicks off with Vegeta stepping up against Demon King Gomah, wasting no time in showcasing why he’s one of the strongest warriors in the Dragon Ball universe. As soon as he ascends to Super Saiyan 3, the entire atmosphere of the fight shifts. Unlike in Episode 12, where his smaller form gave us a fresh but unexpected look at the transformation, this time we see the full-grown Vegeta in all his SSJ3 glory—and it looks absolutely incredible.
From the moment he powered up, it was clear that Vegeta meant business. His fierce blows, aggressive fighting style, and the sheer intensity of his attacks had Gomah on the ropes. One of the biggest highlights of the fight was Vegeta’s Final Flash in Super Saiyan 3, which was beautifully animated and packed a serious punch. For a moment, it truly felt like Vegeta was going to dominate the battle completely.
The Toll of Super Saiyan 3
As amazing as it was to see Vegeta finally let loose in this form, we all know that Super Saiyan 3 comes with a massive drawback—its extreme ki consumption. Even though Vegeta was holding his own, the sheer energy drain of the transformation started to wear him down. Eventually, he had no choice but to drop back into his base form.
But what was even more impressive? Even in his base state, Vegeta was still putting up a fight! Despite losing the raw power of SSJ3, he continued to go toe-to-toe with Gomah, showing just how skilled he truly is. Vegeta has always been a warrior who doesn’t rely solely on transformations—his technique, battle sense, and determination keep him in the fight no matter what.
A Classic Toriyama Moment: Bulma’s Hilarious Ultimatum
And of course, it wouldn’t be Dragon Ball without some classic Akira Toriyama humor. Just as Vegeta was still going at it in his base form, Bulma stepped in with the ultimate threat—no more bath times if he didn’t step down and let Goku take over the battle. That moment had me laughing because it was such a perfect representation of their relationship.
It’s little moments like this that remind me why I love Dragon Ball so much. No matter how intense the action gets, there’s always a balance of humor and character moments that make the series special. Seeing Vegeta—one of the proudest warriors in the universe—back down because of Bulma’s warning was just peak Toriyama comedy.
What’s Next for Vegeta and SSJ3?
Now that we’ve finally seen Vegeta’s full-sized Super Saiyan 3 in action, the big question is: will we see him use it again in the future of Dragon Ball? With Daima introducing so many surprises, it’s hard to say if this will be a one-time moment or if Vegeta will continue refining the form. Given that the series takes place before Dragon Ball Super, it does make me wonder if this was simply a power-up he couldn’t maintain long-term, or if it will play a role in future stories.
Either way, this episode gave Vegeta fans something incredible. Not only did he take charge, but he looked badass while doing it. Even though his time in Super Saiyan 3 was short-lived, he left a huge impact, proving once again why he is one of the best characters in Dragon Ball history.
Final Thoughts: A Perfect Episode for Vegeta Fans
Dragon Ball Daima Episode 19 was a treat for Vegeta fans. Seeing him finally use Super Saiyan 3 in his normal state, dominate the battlefield, and still hold his own even after powering down was everything I could have hoped for. His Final Flash in SSJ3 was breathtaking, his battle presence was unmatched, and the humor with Bulma was the cherry on top.
With Daima nearing its end, I can only hope we get to see even more of Vegeta in action. Whether it’s another use of Super Saiyan 3 or something completely unexpected, this episode has reminded us all why Vegeta remains one of the most beloved warriors in Dragon Ball history.
What did you think of Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 3 moment in Daima? Do you think he’ll use it again in the future? Let’s talk about it!
I love super Saiyan 3 it's my favorite transformation so whether Goku or Vegeta uses it I'm always happy to see it I loved watching Vegeta dominate King gomah in his super Saiyan 3 form the fight was incredible and him unleashing the final flash in his super Saiyan 3 form it was peak and I can't forget the bulma and Vegeta moment it was hilarious unfortunately I don't think we're going to see super Saiyan 3 Vegeta in dragon Ball super in the future I think the energy consumption is just too taxing on his body so he'll probably use his other forms but still this transformation was so epic to see Akira toriyama is the GOAT
