As we step into 2025, Dragon Ball fans have so much to look forward to. From thrilling updates in Sparking Zero to the highly anticipated return of Dragon Ball Daima and the manga, this year is shaping up to be another milestone for the franchise. 2024 ended with some unforgettable moments—Vegeta finally achieving Super Saiyan 3 in Daima Episode 12, for one—and now we’re gearing up for even more action, surprises, and revelations. Here’s everything on my radar for Dragon Ball in 2025.

Sparking Zero DLCs: Expanding the Roster

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO – New Official Demo 23 Minutes of High Level Gameplay!

If you’re a fan of Sparking Zero, then 2025 is about to blow your mind. The game is set to receive new DLCs featuring characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and Dragon Ball Daima. Imagine battling with Gamma 1, Gamma 2, or even Majin Duu from Daima—these additions will take gameplay to another level.

On top of that, there’s speculation about additional game updates that could include new stages, game modes, and balance tweaks. Personally, I’m hoping for some fusions to make their way into the game, especially with Daima introducing more fusion possibilities. The developers have done an incredible job keeping Sparking Zero fresh and exciting, and it’s clear that they’re committed to giving fans even more in 2025.

Dragon Ball Daima: The Journey Continues

With Dragon Ball Daima currently on a break, fans are eagerly awaiting its return on January 10th. Not only will we get Episode 13, but it will also mark the debut of the first dubbed episode—an exciting milestone for the series. Daima is predicted to have 20 episodes, meaning we’re just past the halfway point. This leaves plenty of room for action-packed battles, shocking reveals, and possibly some incredible fusions.

2024 ended with Vegeta’s unforgettable Super Saiyan 3 transformation, and I can’t wait to see what else is in store. The Demon Realm arc has been full of surprises, and as we approach the series’ conclusion, I’m expecting nothing less than jaw-dropping moments. Whether it’s new forms, epic fights, or character development, Daima has set a high bar, and I’m confident it will deliver.

The Future of Dragon Ball Movies

DBS Manga: Moro Angel vs Hypothetical Vegito SSJ Blue (Moro arc, final stretch) - Battles - Comic Vine

While nothing is confirmed yet, Toei Animation’s fiscal year 2026 hints at two planned movies, one of which could potentially be a new Dragon Ball film. If this happens, it would be the perfect way to continue the momentum from Super Hero. Personally, I’d love to see a movie that dives deeper into the lore of Black Frieza or even explores the aftermath of Daima.

Dragon Ball movies have always been a spectacle, combining stunning animation with high-stakes storytelling. A new film would not only be a treat for fans but also an opportunity to expand the universe even further. Fingers crossed we get some official announcements soon!

Dragon Ball Battle Hour 2025: What to Expect

The annual Dragon Ball Battle Hour is always a highlight, and 2025 promises to be no exception. This year, Akio Iyoku, the executive producer for Dragon Ball, will be joined by Aaron Dismuke, the English voice of Glorio and The English VA for Panzy. altogether, they’re expected to share updates about the franchise’s future, including new projects, games, and possibly unseen illustrations drawn by Akira Toriyama himself.

The event will also feature an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming Daima episode, which is sure to set the internet on fire. For fans like me, the Battle Hour is a chance to celebrate everything we love about Dragon Ball while getting a glimpse of what’s to come.

The Manga Returns: New Chapters and Fresh Stories

Vuelve el manga de Dragon Ball Super! Fecha de estreno del nuevo capítulo de Goten y Trunks

After nearly a year of waiting, the Dragon Ball Super manga is set to return in February with a special one-shot chapter. This backstory will explore why Trunks loves superheroes, potentially tying into Super Hero and setting the stage for the manga’s next arc. Could this one-shot lead directly into Black Frieza’s storyline? I think it’s highly likely.

Last we saw, Black Frieza was dominating Goku and Vegeta in their most powerful forms. His return as the main antagonist could take the series into uncharted territory, challenging our heroes in ways we’ve never seen before. The manga’s return is easily one of the most exciting prospects for 2025, and I can’t wait to see where the story goes.

Final Thoughts: The Future Looks Bright

As a lifelong Dragon Ball fan, 2025 feels like a dream come true. From the continuation of Daima and the return of the manga to the exciting updates for Sparking Zero and the potential for new movies, the franchise shows no signs of slowing down. Akira Toriyama’s legacy continues to thrive, and the passion of the creators and fans alike ensures that Dragon Ball remains as impactful as ever.

Whether you’re a gamer, an anime enthusiast, or a manga reader, there’s something for everyone in 2025. Personally, I’m most excited to see how Daima wraps up and what surprises the manga has in store. One thing’s for sure: being a Dragon Ball fan has never been more rewarding, and the future looks brighter than ever.

I can't wait to see how dragon Ball diama ends but I really can't wait to read the Manga I want to know what kind of plans black Frieza has up his sleeve and also I want to know how much stronger broly has gotten because I think he's going to be a key player in all of this because he's the only one who hasn't gotten a new transformation I'm so hyped for this
