I'm here for Toyotaro as the new mangaka I don't have an issue with the cover I think he gives everybody a good balance and it gives everybody a chance to shine yes everybody went about their own ways getting their power-ups it just shows that toriyama and Toyotaro are willing to give there characters growth but I'm happy with the direction that dragon ball going in I have no worries or complaints I'm just going to wait and see what he drops next

I feel the problem with the power scaling in Dragon Ball is that outside of Goku and Vegeta everyone else feels cheap. We see the struggles Goku and Vegeta go through via training to be where they are today. Everyone else is pure plot armor. Especially Gohan. He's the worst offender of the bunch lol

Well Gohan has insane potential. If anything, they're doing Goten and Trunks dirty. Those two little runts are way stronger than we think.

This is what I've been saying for years....it's not all about "Goku solos"..if Goku was here now, he would be quite disappointed in us!😭 Toriyama literally introduced power levels to show us how BS and unreliable they are, and us "fans" are here with our scouters on talking about "oh x outscales y and so and so🤓"

I mean I understand it's done out of a desire to have a cohesive and structured story and honestly as Dragon Balls fans, we all crave a bit of structure in this beautiful but plot-hole ridden story that is Dragon Ball (which we all still love to bits regardless). Like during the Tournament of Power, I had no choice but to turn my power scaling brain off...."How are these randoms fighting Krillin and Tien, who are probably stronger than Cell at his point? Why did Goku go Blue for that guy, is he even Blue level???" And so and so...

And yes, the team also recognise this, as there are evident attempts to sort of rectify those moments in the manga's versions of events.

But all that being said, you are totally right. Sometimes we let this desire for having everything be perfect and make complete sense (Dragon Ball? Logical and making sense, in the same sentence? LMAO!) make us loose sight of the beautiful, amazing and powerful story that is being told. And we as fans shouldn't let that stop us from enjoying the absolute work of art, absolutely masterpiece that that man Akira Toriyama graced this earth with.

I'll love Dragon Ball forever with all my heart ❤️
