The Countdown to DragonBall Daima’s Finale: What’s Left to Resolve?
Breaking down the final six episodes and the big questions that need answers.
When Hulu announced that Dragon Ball Daima will end with Episode 20 on February 28th, I felt a mix of excitement and curiosity. With only six episodes left, there’s still so much left to unravel—who will make the wish with the 3-Star Dragon Balls? Will Demon King Gomah finally be defeated? And how will Daima connect with Dragon Ball Super? Let’s go through the biggest unanswered questions and what we might expect as the series races toward its conclusion.
The Wish with the 3-Star Dragon Balls: Who Will Claim It?
The 3-Star Dragon Balls have been at the center of the story, and with so many characters needing for them, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Demon King Gomah wants to use them to find the Evil Eye, while Arinsu plans to overthrow Gomah and claim the Demon Realm throne. Meanwhile, Goku and the team are determined to restore everyone to their adult forms and rescue Dende.
It feels like the final wish will bring all these motivations to a head. Will the Z Fighters be able to stop Gomah and Arinsu in time, or will one of them get their hands on the wish first? With so much on the line, I’m bracing for a showdown that could determine the fate of everyone involved.
Demon King Gomah: Will He Finally Be Defeated?
Demon King Gomah has been one of the most intimidating villains in recent Dragon Ball history. He’s powerful, ruthless, and always seems one step ahead. With only six episodes left, it’s hard not to wonder how the team will take him down—or if they even can.
Will it take a united effort from the entire group, or will Goku or Vegeta unlock a new transformation to turn the tide? There’s also the looming threat of the Evil Eye, which Gomah could use as a last-ditch effort. Either way, the fight against Gomah is shaping up to be one of the most intense battles we’ve seen in Daima.
Glorio’s Betrayal: When Will the Team Find Out?
Glorio’s secret alliance with Arinsu has added a lot of suspense to the story. While viewers have been aware of his betrayal for some time, the rest of the team is still in the dark. It’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out, and when it does, it’s going to hit hard.
How will the Z Fighters react? Will Glorio have a redemption moment, or will he double down on his loyalty to Arinsu? This subplot has been building for a while, and I’m excited to see how it plays into the larger narrative as the series nears its end.
The Evil Third Eye: What Is Its Role?
In this week’s preview, we saw Dabura holding the Evil Third Eye, and it immediately raised questions. What exactly is this artifact, and how does it fit into the bigger picture? Could it be the key to defeating Gomah, or will it bring even greater chaos?
Dabura’s involvement adds another layer of intrigue. Is he acting on his own, or is he working with Gomah? The introduction of the Evil Third Eye has been one of the most mysterious plot points in Daima, and I’m looking forward to finally getting some answers.
Fusion Bugs: Will Goku Finally Use Them?
The Fusion Bugs, which allow for three-person fusions, have been teased throughout the series, but we still haven’t seen Goku use them. With so much at stake, now feels like the perfect time to bring them into play.
The idea of a three-person fusion is thrilling, especially with the potential combinations. Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan? Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma? The possibilities are endless, and I’m hoping we get to see this unique technique in action before the series wraps up.
How Will Daima Tie Into Dragon Ball Super?
One of the biggest questions is how Daima will connect to Super. So far, Super hasn’t acknowledged any of the events or characters from Daima. Could this mean the series will end with some kind of memory wipe or alternate timeline explanation?
Alternatively, Daima could set up new storylines for Super. With the return of the Evil Eye, the Fusion Bugs, and the expanded lore of the Demon Realm, there’s a lot of potential for these elements to carry over into future arcs. Whatever happens, I hope the finale gives us a satisfying bridge between the two series.
Final Thoughts: Wrapping Up DragonBall Daima
With only six episodes left, Dragon Ball Daima has a lot to resolve, but I’m optimistic about what’s ahead. From the fate of the 3-Star Dragon Balls to the defeat of Demon King Gomah, there’s so much to look forward to. Add in the mystery of Glorio’s betrayal, the Evil Third Eye, and the potential for epic fusions, and it’s clear we’re in for an action-packed finale.
As we count down to the final episode on February 20th, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and nostalgia. Daimahas been an incredible ride, and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together. What are your predictions for the last few episodes? Let’s talk about it!
I think it's going to take a combined effort from everyone to defeat demon king gomah after he gets the evil eye I also think dr Arinsu is going to escape from the z fighters without getting a chance to become the demon queen and I also think Glorio’s is going to have a redemption moment and help the z fighters beat king gomah and last I think they might kill off neva just to give daima a little dramatic impact
